As a beautiful stepped village, Ghale bala can be a nice destination which is considered as a gate to Turan national park located near Shahrood in Semnan province. The village is highly attractive not only for its own beauty but also due to its vicinity to an awesome area called Turan which is home of highly important species such as Persian leopard being listed as an endangered specie, Persian Onager and Iranian ground jay which are native to Iran. Actually the latter is an endemic specie to Iran. The villagers produce very beautiful handcrafts among which Taneh bafi is considered as the most outstanding one. Travel to the village you can stay at local guesthouses and enjoy an extreme beauty the night sky dedicates you. Best seasons to visit the site are spring and autumn. To reach the village and start a great trip to walk around Turan area, you need to go to Shahrood a small city nearby.
